Case Observation

I recently had the privilege of have two surgeons from out of town observe an endometriosis surgery of mine. Both were experienced minimally invasive surgeons and wanted to expand their understanding of the disease. One was from St. Louis and the other from Chicago.  It was great to share experience about this complex disease.

Endometriosis Foundation's Fourth Annual Symposium

I am in New York City and will be attending the Endometriosis Foundation's Fourth Annual Symposium. I am tremendously excited about this. As anyone who treats patients with endometriosis knows (and anyone with endometriosis knows even better), the management of this complicated condition is a moving target. The program will focus both on the importance of meticulous surgical technique to excise the endometriosis lesions and medical management. There will also presentations about the most cutting edge research relating to the pathophysiology of endometriosis. I'll update more after the conference.
